=== Sierra cup made with one sheet iron by "Shibori" technique ===

The super-rare Sierra cup at the request of the customer. It's made by Japanese traditional metal hammering technique "Shibori", of course. It's all handmade spending about 3 times of Shibori process than frying pans or woks.

=== Super-rare baking natural Japanese lacquer finish handmade iron Sierra cup ===

  • Japanese lacquer finish will not bother the taste when used as a cup to hold drinks or soups.
    You can use it for cooking with oil, and if you use the dedicated lid, you can cook delicious rice by taking advantage of the heat properties of iron.
  • The handle is designed to be easy to hold, and unlike commercially available products, it is made of one sheet iron, making it easy to clean and durable.
  • The rim is gently curved outwards, providing a smooth feeling when drinking drinks or soups.
  • The marks are engraved on the inside at the 100cc and 200cc positions, so you can also use it as a measuring cup.
  • By the grace of its precision, you can stack multiple pieces and carry them around. You can also store the lid upside down smartly.

=== About metal hammering technique "Shibori" ===

Unlike the forging of the hot working technique, "Shibori" is a Japanese traditional cold working technique.
Properly heat-treated and especially slow-cooled iron can be worked by hand hammering at ordinary temperatures. Also when making like frying pans by forging, the hammer is beating inside of iron sheets, but in "Shibori", it will be beating outside of them like squeezing.
By beating outside like squeezing without hardness change due to temperature change, the iron sheet can be a tough, lightweight, and uniform thickness.
However, using the "Shibori" technique for iron is very difficult and it needs more than twice the time and effort to use for normal soft copper, brass, and silver. For this reason, ”Iron Shibori” is a very rare technique in the world.

=== Safety ===
The materials of the Real Classic Sierra cup are iron and natural Japanese lacquer only! There is no coating with chemical substances. It's completely safe. By virtue of no anticorrosive paint, burning off the chemical paint before use is also unnecessary.

=== About Care ===
After use, please wash with hot water. Since the lacquer coating on the surface will be lost, wire wool and abrasive sponge are prohibited. Afterward please dry with a towel etc.
