=== Premium Heavy Duty Series ===

New series with board thickness 2.3mm that were requested by users.
Going beyond the limits of the cold hand-hammering "Shibori" technique, it's no one can imitate.
Even with this thickness, which is hard and difficult to process, the "Shibori" technique is used as it is, so the shape is beautiful and delicate, and the accuracy is maintained at a high level same as the normal series.
By increasing the thickness by about 43% from 1.6 mm, of course, the lightness is naturally sacrificed, but the heat retention capacity is greatly increased by that amount, and the temperature does not easily drop due to the addition of ingredients, so very thick meat is now also welcome.
It is a tougher series that can withstand heavy use because it is more durable especially against deformation of the bottom during high-temperature cooking.

=== Improved "ver.2" with new handle for better grip ===

=== The advantages of metal hammering technique "Shibori" ===

Unlike forging of hot working technique, "Shibori" is Japanese traditional cold working technique.
Properly heat-treated and especially slow-cooled iron can be worked by hand hammering at ordinary temperatures. Also when making frying pans by forging, the hammer is beating inside of iron sheets, but in "Shibori", it will be beating outside of them like squeezing.
By beating outside like squeezing without hardness change due to temperature change, iron sheets can be tough, lightweight, and have a uniform thickness.
However, using the "Shibori" technique for iron is very difficult and it needs more than twice the time and effort to use for normal soft copper, brass, and silver. For this reason, ”Iron Shibori” is a very rare technique in the world.

  • Outstanding heat conductivity and heat storage performance
  • Excellent durability
  • Well shaped high edge for the ease of cooking
  • Dedicated perfect fitting lid available

The materials of Real Classic Ironware are iron and cooking oil only! There is no coating with chemical substances. It's completely safe. By virtue of no anticorrosive paint, burning off chemical paint before use is also unnecessary.

=== How to use ===
Commercial products require seasoning before use, but Real Classic Ironware is ready-to-use; coating with cooking oil by baked in a fire completely, there is no need for seasoning.
Thanks to excellent heat conduction, you can cook with less firepower than usual. (Please notice, fast heating by induction heater may cause a deformity.)
Handles of ironware may become hot depending on the cooking method. Please be careful with burns using oven mitts or the like if needed.
(Handles of frying pans are good in heat dissipation, they can be held with bare hands if it's on a low flame.)

=== About Care ===
After use, please wash with water while the ironware is still hot. Since the oil on the surface will be lost, dishwasher detergent and wire wool are prohibited. Afterward please dry with fire or towel etc.

Yuya delivers a completely unique experience. He communicates throughout the forging process and one can see how a thin piece of cold steel is shaped and forged into a living piece of metal.

Upon receiving the pan, there is a noticeable aura of craftsmanship emanating from the metal. The lid especially had a more rough and hammered texture, yet perfectly smooth and curved.

Most importantly, the pot conducts heat well and the cooks great. I have ordered a few more pieces to use and hopefully pass on as heirlooms to future generations.
